Computer Setup

Most new computers come with a lot of extra crap on them that you really don't need, and can actually slow down your computer. It is a form of advertising: different companies pay your computer manufacturer for the right to put their programs and advertisements on your computer. This, in turn, allows your computer manufacturer to sell the computer to you at a lower price.

Also, a lot of people think they need a new computer just because theirs is a little old and running a bit slow. Many times, that is not the case. You computer may just need a fresh start.

Depending on what came with your computer, I will either:

• "reformat" it (wipe it clean) and re-install the basic stuff needed to make it work (including any and all special programs you may want), or
• remove all of the junk your computer manufacturer installed
